The tips have GM with the part number and a W below the part number. The front pipes are welded where they are reduced in size.

I also have these front pipes. they supposedly came from a car that they put headers on.

I believe this is the earlier style. I believe the welded pipes are the later style, possibly late 1972 and 73-74.
