I have an original 207 coil that has been sitting around for many years. It was on a 67 that I purchased many years ago and must have replaced it with a correct 263 coil. What is the correct application for this coil? Was it a service item? Thanks in advance.

The GM #1115207 coil was used on 1965-67 small blocks with K-66. It was also SERVICE for 1964 small blocks with TI and all 65-71 with K-66.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 207 coil
Wayne, Joe, Sal, Guys, I'm curious, I have a couple 207 coils in my possession. One with that exact label "Primary Amplifier for Magnetic pulse Transistor Ignition (Foil over paper).
Could you shed some light on the origins of this label- versus labels I see with "Ignition coil for Transistor Ignition. Application? Service? etc etc?- Top
