1970 Conv rear deck seal FIT?

I am finishing the full frame off on my 70 Convertible The fit on the rear deck seal is not even close, the seal seems short and way too thick. The deck lid won't get even close to a good fit way too high, and the convertible top assembly isn't even in yet.
Is there a better seal kit than Paragon ?
    THANKS,
    Bob

    Bob,

There is 99.9% chance that the seals from Paragon were made by Corvette Rubber.
Located in Northern Michigan, we manufacture the highest quality American-made restoration weatherstripping for Corvettes. When you count on quality weatherstripping for America’s favorite sports car, you can count on Corvette Rubber Company.

They are essentially the only game in town, so to speak, for many weatherstrips. There are a few made by Metro Molded but this does not appear to be one of the parts they make, per their website.

I would call Corvette Rubber and see what they have to say.
