    1932015 Rotor

    Inquisitive minds want to know?

I have two 1932015 Rotors that I pulled the string on the boxes. I got one in the US and one in Canada. The one in the box from Canada does not have the Delco logo on the Rotor the one I bought in the US does. Other than the logo they are identical.

    Any thoughts?

        Harry------

They should be identical (except for markings, of course).

One more thing I should have mentioned: why do you suppose that some Delco caps have the Delco-Remy logo and some do not? Here's what I think: In their heyday, Delco-Remy probably manufactured rotors (as well as other ignition parts) for sale under other brands. So, they removed any reference to Delco-Remy from the parts because they and the other firms that sold the parts under their own brand names did not want anyone to know the actual manufacturing source. Some of these "unbranded" parts wound up in Delco-Remy boxes. You might find "circles" on the rotors where the mold insert would have resided for the Delco-Remy branded parts.

As a matter of fact, I've seen ignition parts come out of other brand boxes that had the Delco-Remy logo on them. So, the branding mistakes happened both ways.
