In December of 2016 my 1960 project finally was completed! I am not sure it will ever be done, but it is together now and I am looking forward to taking it to the Regional in Iowa in May. I have been to several NCRS Chapter meets and I think about 6 or 7 Regionals, but this will be my first time having a car judged by my NCRS peers. Hoping to reacquaint with those who I have had the privilege of meeting before and also to meet others. Hope to see you there. Greg

Re: Are you going to the Iowa Regional in May?
Here is the current information. The Host Hotel is full. As of an hour ago there was 2 rooms at the AmericInn Lodge (listed on flyer). Boulders Inn & Suites (listed on flyer) has 12 rooms. The Super 8 (not listed - supposed to be recently remodeled) has 40 rooms - Super 8 Newton, 1635 12th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208, 641-792-8868. The only activities at the host hotel will be the judges breakfast. Every other event (Welcome Reception, Awards Banquet, etc) will be at the Iowa Speedway. Don H.- Top

Grinnell to the East is a nice college town. Something there for sure.
Des Moines to the West, including Altoona (east side suburb) will have rooms. (D-M. the state capitol.)
I-80 will take you from Grinnell to Newton to Des Moines.
My last time through it was hotter than heck.https://MichiganNCRS.org

p.s. Hard to see colors. More pictures please. Silver coves? Turquoise or Blue interior? Whichever it is, it's gorgeous.
edit.....I keep looking at your photo. So very nice. And I just noticed the fuelie emblem. Wow! I think I want to come to Iowa just to keep staring at it.- Top

All Ermine white, no additional cove color. Frost Blue Interior with blue top. Drivetrain is all original to the car with the 290 hp fuelie, 4-speed and 4:11 posi. I have owned it since 1998, finally got it finished in December 2016. Looking forward to the Nebraska Chapter Judging meet in April, then on to the regional in Iowa in May. Should be fun!!!!!!!!- Top
