FWIW, Room reservations were made from midnight on. Currently, there are rooms booked by 258 people and only 100 Convention Registrations. Hotel block has over 1600 room nights. Booking is currently 80% of capacity.

Unfortunately, some of the reservation agents were providing incorrect information on rooms not available etc. The Host hotel correct that problem.

Also, The Alamo tours and dinners are 75% booked.

Looking forward to seeing y'all in San Antonio this July.

Called yesterday, 2-1 at about 4:00 PM EST and had no problem booking a room at the NCRS rate from Sun, July 9 through Thurs. July 13. Leaving Fri. morning, July 14.

Now to register for one of the Road Tours and the Convention. Wanted to nail down the room first.

We have tried off and on all day today, finally talked with a gentleman and he told me all rooms are sold out on the nights of July 10th and 11th (Monday and Tuesday). Across the street is a Marriott with rates those two nights is $254 the first night, and $273 the second night. Also told me there was NO onsite parking available.
Might be a good time to stay home at those prices.

The LaQuinta is across from the Marriott. It has on site parking and the rate is $159. The other hotels on the overflow list are a little farther down the street but in easy walking distance of the CC.

I am at SpringHill Suites for $139 a night. 3 block walk is good exercise as car will be in secure parking. Oh well. My room may be ready before 4 pm also.

Where are the rooms for National? I can't get in the host hotel; it has been full since 2/3/17.
So where are we to go? Any ideas where to stay?

try Springhill Suites. The phone number for that hotel and three others nearby is in your Event Registration page.
Rooms were available there today.

We have overflow hotel rooms at the Springhill Suites, Fairfield Inn & Suites, La Quinta and Red Roof Inn. The information is in the Registration pages. All of those hotels have rooms.

Do not call the direct number to the hotel listed above as they have no information on this group reservation.
