    63 Coupe Door Window Channel

Attempting to remove the driver door window channel on a 63 coupe. Is there any way to get the channel out without damaging it?

It is difficult. Have you referenced the body service manual?

We had to "twist" the rear channel away from the interior, after unbolting it, to get a window to go up into the (normally visible) upper part of the channel. That was on a '65, and the "shoe", on the rear bottom of the window sash, is smaller and thinner on '64-'67 coupes. I will post a photo of the "'63 coupe only" sash, which includes the larger "shoe" mentioned... Your '63 should not have fuzzies in the lower part of the channel, but should look more like the convertibles (a thin material glued in the lower rear channel).

The middle photo shows the front end of the same '63 SASH.
