Jay Kline Chevrolet Sold A New 1967 Maroon L88 Corvette?

My brother in law claims he drove a maroon L88 at Jay Kline Chevrolet in Minneapolis. I assume it was new, only because of the type of dealership Kline ran. My B_I_L bought a '67, but not the L88.

I searched this discussion board for Jay Kline L88 and found other interesting Jay Kline stuff, such as a Facebook page and more. However, I was unable to verify that Kline actually sold an L88 in 1967.

1. It's possible it was a used car.
2. I assume such a car still exists.
3. It is probably an easy answer for well worn (excuse me, make that well experienced) NCRS guys.

There's lots of mentions on line of the maroon Corvette convertible sold at auction, by a seller from TX. That car was said to be sold new in Portland, OR.

Any comments on another maroon one?

On the other forum TCracingCA had posted a picture of 'all' known l-88s. The only possible maroon ones might be those he identified as:

10702 'lost notes on this one'
the 12 mile l-88
the Lyman Slack chevrolet car
and the unknown vin 'Farris' car

The 1988 Bloomington Gold Special Collection booklet says the 12 mile car was sold to someone in Minneapolis in 1975.
I found 10702 is listed in Noland's book on page 444.

The 12 mile 67 L88 is red.

The 12 mile 67 L88 is red.

The Farris car might be too, it was hard to tell from the picture. The only other red or maroon car is the Mike Savoie Chev car and that is clearly red/red.

There was a 67 L89 found up in Minnesota, Wisconsin area about 25 years ago as the motor was here in St.Louis and the rough old car was up north. Car was restored and a few articles ( Corvette Fever) were written about it.
