I just got a personal email from John Hinkley!!!

I just now got on the computer, and lo and behold, the first email was from John!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing really special, he was just replying to an email I had sent back in Sept.
Based on the content of his email, he is progressing very good.
LET'S CONTINUE TO KEEP HIM IN OUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is in Hospice and is expecting to go home next month. He says he is improving quite well and his wife is getting things done at the house to assist his mobility when he goes home.
The first thing he asked about was progress on the plane and wanted me to send some videos of engines being started and taxi runs.

That's great to hear, John is also a true aviation enthusiast and a very accomplished pilot. I had the pleasure to speak with him at length about flying some years ago at Carlisle. Thanks for sharing that news Tom. Wishing you all the best John. CAVU
