Body build date vs final assembly date by the vin #

I have a 67 cpe vin number is 3552, according to the NCRS birthday book the car's final production date is November,10,1966. The St Louis body build date (D10) also shows November 10th 1966. Could it be possible that the body build date is the same as the final production date according to the vin # ?
The correct block casting number was cast on J116 (Oct. 11th 1966, correct heads with casting date of J11 & J31.

I am trying to get a correct engine assembly date given the above information. I am thinking that November 3, 1966 might have been the engine assembly date on the original engine?

    Much Oblidge

I moved this out of the Test Forum to the Technical Discussion Board for you and modified it slightly.
