    75 - 77 Distributor Top Cover

I have pictured two versions of the Distributor Top Cover for the 75 - 77 Corvette. Their both part #351696. The version that seems to be the one most readily available and common on E-Bay has a square hole on the front face and the back face has a vertical bulge in the middle. The other more rarer version has no hole and the back face is flat. Is the flat one an earlier version?

    Alger,

The original distributor cover on my '75 #19659 is the "no hole, flat face back" version.

    Thank you,

      Guy,
My 75 is an April 2nd car #21273. I have both covers and have been trying to figure which one is correct. Unless I get a more specific changeover point, I may just have to base it on your car and go with the no-hole version.
      Thanks, AL

        Al,

If I was in your shoes that's what I would do.
