Richard Cohen of Long Island Corvette

Just got a call from Andy Cannizzo,. He stated that Richard Cohen passed away. Founder of Long Island Corvette and my friend for many years. Where would this midyear hobby be today without Richard and family.
Maybe Kim will chirp in with other info.
    God Bless Richard.

This is very sad, a tanker guy if there ever was one, he will be missed.

Richard was a wealth of knowledge. He stuck to his guns when he knew something was correct as he had plenty of home grown experience with a lot of original unmolested cars, Thanks for passing on the knowledge Richard. God Bless the Family,he will live on forever.

Very sad, a great loss, he was always very helpful, even when developing repro parts, he would help me to do so by supplying GM drawings to me, at no cost. That was 30 years ago. Who does that today? His company, parts, and organization are second to none with 63-7 parts. He was always willing to share his knowledge and always open minded and willing to learn something new. He will be sadly missed but most of all the cars he loved will have parts from his hands for a long time to come. My sincere condolences to Kim and the entire family. May he RIP
