Re: noland adams RIP
Rest in Peace my dear friend. Nolan contributed so much to this hobby we cannot begin to understand how many hours, days, months and years he spent helping others.
Another Icon in the world of Corvettes has passed. We are humbled by knowing him.
I was honored to be mentioned in his book "The Complete Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide - Vol 2".

Re: noland adams RIP
It was my privilege to work with Nolan many years ago when he was researching data for his second book. My condolences to his family and Godspeed on his final trip down the blacktop to join the many other Corvette faithful awaiting all of us at the final event.- Top

Re: noland adams RIP
Such a loss to the Corvette community, as well as all of his friends and family.
The first time I met Noland, at an NCRS Regional Meet in Waco, we talked for quite a while right after he arrived and many times since. In the course of the conversations it was determined that we very likely were cousins. He always addressed me afterwards as "Cuz". Every new book that came out, he sent my wife and myself an autographed copy. A true gentleman, scholar, and just a great friend.

Re: noland adams RIP
We finally met in 1979 after many phone visits. He organized the 1980 NCRS Convention meet in San Mateo, California. The GRAND SPORT chassis was in the hotel lobby, and 1963 VIN #003 pilot line red fuel convertible was parked next to my 65 black / white FI coupe I had purchased from Gene Dressen. Rich Mason drove his 1959 big brake car from Carson City, NV. It had shag carpets in the trunk. Loren Lundberg from Phoenix, The Nabers from Texas, and many others all met for the first time.
Thank you Noland. We have all had a great adventure thanks to you and other pioneers. RIP my friend.Over 80 Corvettes of fun ! Love Rochester Fuel Injection 57-65 cars. Love CORVETTE RACE CARS
