This one, GM #1552729, aka AC CV-202:
This is an EXTREMELY difficult to find item and this one's not for sale. Many years ago the late Dale Pearman wanted to buy this one from me for his restoration of a very famous 1962 and I wouldn't sell it. I have not changed my mind as I don't sell parts. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I know the P&A Catalog says 1961. However, according to the late Dale Pearman whose long-time specialty was 1962 Corvettes, this is the one.
By the way, there were different versions of the CV-202. The original is the black version shown above. Later, it had a zinc or cadmium finish but was otherwise the same, with the same stamped part number. Later yet, there MAY have been another version that was of stamped steel construction. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 1962 corvette rpo242
Joe, the one I have looks like the one you pictured. The box mine came in was #5646178 but the valve is stamped 1552729. It also has a white label around it printed with red saying AC(circled) type cv-202. It also has 2 arrows indicating "to manifold". I think the box indicated a part number change. thanks again. Re: 1962 corvette rpo242
Dave, I am not aware of any tag on the PCV hose. I believe that the hose is only described as black with possibly AC printed in white. The only thing that I know of is a yellow card that was to attach to the inside mirror. Don- Top
