    1970 rear strut coating

    Hi
    Would anyone know what the rear struts color was when the car came off the production line. Black or natural metal.

      Tom, the 70 rear strut rod had a natural gray to blue gray forging. I think most guys put them into a glass beading tank and clean the up and put a flat clear to protect from rust, most judges seem to be okay with this.

              Look at the "similar threads" list at the bottom of your thread. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. We have been there and got that T-shirt.
