Is there such a Corvette as a Corvette Avelate that GM built in limited numbers in 2002. Person on line claims he owns one? Said GM only built 20 ?

The Avelate is a conversion done to existing cars by a company in my neighboring town. I have no idea if they are still in business as the cars never really sold well. Saw one or two at local car shows with nobody paying them any attention. IMHO, they are ugly as he11.
