    Radiator Shroud

    Is removing the upper A-arm the best way when removing the radiator and shroud on a 73.

    I say yes. And, it's really not all that difficult to remove the upper arms.

      Lyle, Remove the hood, then take the side bolts out of the Radiator support (The ones that attach it to the inner fenders). Loosen the lower core support bolts and then tip it forward a couple inches. This will make radiator and shroud removal much easier. That is the method that works best for me! Joe

        The service manual details the method Joseph mentions. Also, I recall at least one past thread talking about this.
