I would like to have your opinions on the authenticity of this engine as born in my 1957 February 21 built car.

I have had several 57's and none of them had the last 4 digits that are on your pad. The VIN was not on the pad in '57. Otherwise, it looks legit.

Hey Jim, yes the 9565 characters added are not original Corvette factory clearly and they are not the cars VIN as well, I thought they could be an engine rebuilder stamp added later or possibly from another GM car assembly line that I have no knowledge of...

the block dates cast Jan 31, 1957, engine assemble Feb 11, car assembly Feb 21, it currently is a 2X4 set up

The extra stamping is a re-builders number. As to the suffix stamping, it is, without a doubt original. The broach marks are good, and the mis-aligned "G" in the suffix should be of no concern since the last character was hand stamped. (Holder held 5 characters) Date codes make sense.
