First BB 351 Block/Car

Wondering if this info is out there. Who has one of the first 351 casting blocks produce ?

I have seen a few 351 blocks that were originally installed in 1966 Corvettes. One car that I have good information on is vin 27089. This car has its original engine with a 351 block cast in mid June 1966 with an assembly stamp T0707IP. An interesting feature of this block is that it is machined for the 1966 type oiling system which requires a grooved cam and a different rear cam bearing than that used on 1967 model year 351 blocks. I don't know if car 27089 was the first but the first is probably in that vin range. I had a 351 block cast F-17-6, and I think this block as cast F-15-6. If you have such an engine be very careful in determining which rear cam bearing and cam to use because the 67 bearing and non-grooved cam will prevent oil flow to the lifters and result in its destruction.

I have 1967 #350 with an 8-8-66 (H66 cast). Not terribly early.
