John Hinckley status

Corvette Forum is reporting that John has passed.

Unfortunately, many members over there have been interpreting this "get well wishes" as a notice that John has passed.

Is it possible for us to get a definitive answer to this question.

Wishing my dear friend Hinck all of the best, whatever his status. Thoughts and prayers to Linda and the rest of John's familiy and friends.

Please, someone who has some contact, get us a definitive answer.

It's not true...just spoke with Werner Meier who was with John on Monday and talked to Linda his wife this morning. He's not doing too bad and they will keep us updated...all rumor about his demise...Werner will be posting something in the other sticky post shortly.
