Re: 63 on Ebay seems a little strange
It will be on some TV auction in about 5 or 6 months completely restored with everything new in it including the VIN & trim tag. I wonder if the Lone Shark Restoration Shop will put the very rare for 1963 optional 409 engine in it?Ed- Top

Re: 63 on Ebay seems a little strange
Hi Edward,
It's worst than appears if that's possible. The vin tag and title are for a coupe and the body pictured is a convert. The trim tag is for a convert. The vin tag would have been spot welded to the Z bar-not pop riveted
Thanks again for the engine book.

I'm sure that's not the only mis-represented 63 ever to be sold. The one in my avatar will probably end up as "never hit" car for sale. Fortunately for any future buyers, the owner and VIN of that car are very well known and there are a lot of people that are more than happy to post the truth if it is ever advertised for sale. That's the great part of this hobby, looking out for one another.- Top

Re: 63 on Ebay seems a little strange
How does one have a clear title for a 63 coupe and is using said title to sell a 63 convertible? Spell f-r-a-u-d...........
Is the Indiana title in the photo fake too?
State Police, or state attorney general in Florida might be interested in this transaction.- Top

Re: 63 on Ebay seems a little strange
Its one of those rare engine delete cars. Some one is going to get burned on this car in about 12 to 18 months when the full restoration is complete and the car shows up at an auction or on the internet with a new improved bogus VIN tag and title issued by someones cousin that works at a DMV office.Ed- Top

Re: 63 on Ebay seems a little strange
A Corvette owner or restorer being dishonest in dealing with the public is out of the question. How dare someone doubt the validity of this Corvette.
My explanation for this 63 would be a factory issued re-stamp!
