Do you have any pictures showing where the TI harness ends relative to the regular harness. I don't want to secure the harnesses to the hood cable until I am sure they are correctly aligned. Thanks
    Patrick, Post#1, Photos 11, 12, & 13 should help.

You may have to go all the way forward to the TI Module and re-route the harnesses from there to move the entire harness length further back towards the rear. By doing this you will add extra length where the harness heads across the firewall area to get the proper position of the end of the harness before it's taped to TI harness at "B" near the distributor.

I see now Richard. The tape is actually around the individual wires after they have exited the bundle. I will remove any unnecessary slack down stream in the TI harness and wherever it ends up must be correct because it is the original harness (which I re-wrapped with the very expensive heat resistant fiberglass tape from Lectric Limited). It looks like you used that tape to secure the end of the TI harness since it contains resistor wires.

        Patrick,

The black tape isn't high temp tape. It's cloth friction tape. The harness tape originally used was non-adhesive vinyl tape.
