I have read several threads about the replacement and points. Since it will be time before we go to an NCRS judge I am looking for reliability. Any suggestions?

Re: Another battery replacement question '63
The cheapest, easiest, fastest, and most reliable way to go is to get an AC/Delco modern battery that fits your car. Look it up in the Delco listings and visit your nearest Delco dealer, which should be very close. In judging you will receive a standard deduction that is not too bad, should you choose to have it judged.

Christina,
I put the AC Delco battery ACD24-60 into my '63 several years ago and it is still going fine. You will lose half of the originality points (standard deduction) but receive all of the condition points when it is judged.- Top
