Corvette skull motif- from the 60'ts

I always thought that when Corvette started racing again at Le Mans a few years ago that a new logo was thought up of the skull- but here we are back in the 60'ts and Sterling Moss is trying to get off with Miss Corvette - both with the corvette skull logo ?

Anyone knows how far this goes back - just curious

I think it's a photoshop...here is a version without the logos. Clue for me was that a lady's tattoo would have been unusual back then. Edit: Second clue is the "C1" terminology didn't come along until later.

Nice detective work David - we'll spotted- I've just noticed another strange thing - no adverts on Sterling's race suit - back in the day eh

Chris look at the first picture both have a skull - one looks like a tattoo on miss corvette the other a badge on Moss

Sir Stirling was and is always a big hit with the ladies. He always has one on the arm whenever he comes to our Concorso to judge, and at 87, he can still drive with the best of them.
