c 4 L98 oil pressure

Hello, My 1989 C4 drops oil pressure after drive around 24 miles. when cold gauge reads around 50 to 47 psi. I just replaced injectors and the Distributor also replaced oil pressure switch with and aftermarkerone.what could be the cause?

You did not mention what the pressure drops to. That's important.

Also, how many miles are on the car?

Thanks for your reply, my car has 107,000 and the pressure steps down from 50 all the way to 4psi. When cruising around 1,100 and 1,200 keeps around 33psi.

4 PSI is somewhat low for idle oil pressure. However, the first thing you need to do is to install a test gauge on the engine to determine if the 4 PSI reading is accurate.
