    Steering shaft too long (formally labeled as "too Short")

    OK friends and fellow members,
    Many people of probably more knowledge than I claim that my steering shaft can/will simply slide (with some help ) up inside the column to obtain the required length to fit the Borgeson steering box. WELL that ain't happening my friends. I have enlisted the assistance for leverage of a four foot pry bar and some W-D40 and the shaft still will not budge. Any ideas ??????
