Anyone know who does restoration on C2 air conditioning evaporator boxes?

What are your needs??

1. If fiberglass box itself needs repair, Scott Sinclair might be able to help/fix.

2. If just seals, etc. are needed, DR REBUILD has the best rebuild kits around.

3. You might also call Classic Auto Air in Florida and see if they do a complete restore. I believe they may do this, but am unsure about the final quality of the product. They offer rebuilding services for most AC parts. They have a good reputation in the AC industry, but not sure if their quality is what it once was.

there is not much to do on the box, remove the paint, then repaint. unless its rusty or dented up. if that is the case a little body work is needed

You could glass bead the box, paint, put new seals in from Dr. Rebuild. Be sure to pressure test the evaporator core before re installing or buy a new one. The judging guide says gloss black. Also check out your fan motor.
