1963 coupe-taping body mount shims
Could someone please tell the correct way to tape the body mount shims before body drop? JG and assembly does not say and Quanta shows two different ways with 1 1/2" tape. Were they all taped? Thanks in advance

Jerry, What exactly do the Quanta instructions say regarding the 2 methods?
I have a few photos of originals below if it helps. These are the inner rear floor mounts at the seat belt reinforcements on a convertible. If you look closely it appears as a tan masking tape and also a black tape over that. I took the photos of these 2 mounts only as the tape looked unusual to me. Car was built in mid February.
