Has anyone ever installed or removed a FX3 front shock on a 93 to 95? How do you determine how much of the rod shaft gear to allow to protrude above the mounting cup when tightening the bolt, so it will catch the actuator correctly and not damage it. Is there a technique to this process? I'm going to be replacing my mounting cups and was concerned about that issue. The car is a 1995.
