Judging guide says painted body color but flat or semi gloss. There have been threads on this issue. I went through refurbishing my jack storage area and solicited advice from members in this forum re what type of paint to use. Several advised that they had judging success when they used interior color spray dye that is available from LIC. In my case it was Daytona blue - my compartments came out looking pretty good.

The interior floor and jack wells were painted when the exterior was painted soooooooooooooo!
