1963 valance blackout in front of radiator

From reading JG I gather it would look pretty rough as far as paint and blackout paint. Could someone described their car or post pictures? Thanks in advance.

Original cars we see bare fiberglass in the valance area, with "possibly" a hint of blackout

This picture may help. During the paint process, over spray reached many hidden areas, however, the only way the factory was able to apply black out was through the grille opening. (The hood and headlight buckets were in place and prevented access from any other angle.)
