C5 1999 Memory option... radio

Hello!!

I am preparing my 99 for PV and I wanted to see if anyone who has a 1999 with the memory option could chime in as to whether the radio settings are part of the memory settings.

The known controlled settings are seats, AC, outside mirrors, telescopic wheel if equipped..... radio????.

We have seen 98 with the radio settings as part of the package. We have not seen enough 99 to draw that conclusion.

If you have a 99 with memory please let me know...

Pete,

GM Archive pdf for 1999 Corvette includes radio as part of the memory package. Pertinent option information is on page 16 (of 93).

AAB Memory package remembers settings for OSRV mirror, radio, HVAC, and driver's side power seat settings. (Requires CJ2 air conditioning).

Thanks Dave...

Allen and I are trying to see if it carried over from prior years. 98's had it and several 99's do not. So we are trying to see if there is an issue or it was discontinued.

Pete,

Anything to do with the CJ2 Electronic Dual Zone AC vs the manual AC? These 1999s are not all hardtops are they? (Electronic HVAC not an option on HT.)

p.s. FWIW the 2000 year archives pdf has the same words and music about the memory package. Also memory package continues to be not available on HT.

Hi Dave,

The Memory package forces the CJ2 Electronic Dual Zone AC, so all memory cars will have it.
