One stop shopping for a 1964 coupe

I have removed nearly ALL of the underside severely rusted attachment brackets (or what was left of them), reinforcement plates, body mount brackets , seat attachment brackets, and anything that's aluminum riveted to the underneath and sides of the body. My question is-"Any really good recommendation for a supplier for all of these metal pieces for availability and price?" Thanks again Jack J.

      Hi Jack,
You might also try 'CSC Reproduction Corvette Parts'.
They are reproducing some of the sorts of things you mentioned.
You can google their web-site to see what they offer and if you might want to deal with them.
      Regards,
      Alan

Keith, Alan and Bob, much thanks for your replies. Today, I removed the shifter boot reinforcement up underneath and in the transmission tunnel. Badly rusted. Again, THANKS!

Jack - I can offer one data point re C2 brackets. I ordered the bracket that is held on by 2 soft aluminum rivets and is mounted to the floorboard (one on each side) - these brackets support on corner of the large triangular interior splash shields (my car is a '64 - small block). The holes in the brackets from Paragon did not align with the holes in the fiberglass floor and the rivets were much too long. Called LIC, they measured the hole center to center distance on brackets for me - a perfect 1 inch. Ordered a second bracket from LIC - it fit perfectly & the rivets were the right size & length. The LIC rep told me that they have the GM spec sheet for these brackets and they make them, they also sell them to other vendors, Zip being one but not Paragon.

This is but one small data point - hope it helps your decision.
              Ed

I certainly know that others have done what I am doing now, replacing ALL of that bric-a-brac attached to the bottom, side, rear bulkhead, and firewall, because of severe corrosion/rust. It's amazing how many flat bottom aluminum rivets were used-I lost count. Thanks again for the recommendations AND tips! Still trying to break loose the 2 large Philips screws holding down the floor dimmer switch. Need to remove them first before I can remove it's bracket. Thanks, Jack J.
