65/66 First Series Brake Calipers

I have been looking for brake caliper pistons and chevron seals for my '66 with the first series calipers without success. The archives have several articles discussing the varies differences of the early to later brakes, but I haven't located any suppliers.
Does anyone have any ideas on suppliers of the early brake pistons?

The only one I know of is Lonestar Caliper. They used to supply these but I don't know if they still do. I have also seen some for sale which included only the piston and not the Pyroceram insulator (i.e. one would need to transfer the insulators from the existing pistons). However, I forgot where I saw these advertised.

Two others that you might try if you have not already is Vette Brakes in Florida and Corvette Stainless Steel Brakes (CSSB), I believe also in Florida. If Lonestar, Vette Brakes, or CSSB can't supply them and don't know where to get any, I'd say you're going to have an extremely difficult time finding any.

So far most of the brake suppliers don't have the early style caliper parts. I haven't tried Lonestar yet, but will today.

Yup, those are the ones. However, the insulators on these are of a different color and, possibly, different material than original. However, original insulators should be able to be transferred from replaced pistons to the new pistons.

Fantastic, those are the ones. My original insulators are in excellent condition so I will just transfer them to the new pistons.
