15" teak wheel??

Many years ago I found a teak wheel for a C2 but it is 15" and not 16" as my original wheel. It is also not as deep as the standard wheel. Anyone have any idea what this wheel was made for?

Eric Freeman made a 15" teak wheel, I think slightly shallower than original wheel, and also a little thicker wood rim.
For C2 Corvettes.

There have been several makers of reproduction teak steering wheels for C2's over the years. Most were 15" and 16" in diameter and there may have been other sizes. Eric Freeman made mine in 2012 - 15" diameter with about 1" less dish depth. They are just a reproduction that adds a little bling.

Does the slightly smaller diameter block your view of the upper portion of the speedo and tach?

No, I can see all the gauges just fine and I really enjoy the extra "chest room." Some say the 15" wheel increases steering effort but I don't notice it with factory power steering.
