Sending prayers to John. He has always been a great source of knowledge for me as well as one of my biggest boosters.

Send well wishes to Mr. Hinckley as he needs them now. His MI friends report on the CF that he is in hospice now and the outlook is grim.

I will always remember John for his dedication to our hobby, the knowledge he gave to many members and his great smile.
The New England Chapter was honored to have John be the first speaker for the "New England Chapter Speaker Series". An event to remember...............
Thoughts and prayer to you John.

That is indeed sad news. I will always miss seeing John at Corvettes at Carlisle.

Not the kind of news you ever want to hear but during the holidays it just feels especially devastating. Thank you for keeping us posted. Certainly prayers for John and his family.

John is back in the hospital and is gravely ill, but is still with us. We'll try to keep everyone updated.

                          Re: John Hinckley

I first met John at Steamboat Springs National Convention in the 90's. Dick Bennett (now deceased) introduced me to him. John was quiet, never boastful about his Corvette knowledge. I assumed he was just a typical NCRS member who knew as much about Corvettes as I did.

Over the following years John gave me advice over the internet that was so helpfu1. He knew facts about C1s that even the technical publications did not have.

My prayers are that John recovers from this even if he is in Hospice. May God be close to him and his family during this difficult time.

I never met John in person, but like so many of us I have benefited from his countless articles and information he has shared over the years. Truly a master of design and technology, and also able to explain and teach these processes.
John, God Bless and keep the faith!

I first met John at the 50th Anniversary of the Corvette in Flint Michigan. When he spoke the strength of his voice and presentation was unforgettable.
I later recruited John to be the Master of Ceremonies for the Nolan Adams Roast at the SACC National Convention in St Charles, Il.
He is a kind, generous and a great guy.
                              Hang in there John.
