I have been entering cars in the Santa Fe Concorso for 7 years now, usually Corvettes, and always have placed 2nd or 3rd place in the show classes. This year I entered my '64 FI tanker and came away with one of the top awards, the Denise McCluggage Award. I entered her in the vintage race car class, since she was a racer in the first 3-4 years of her life, and she was on the field next to Unser's 1968 Indy winning Gurney Eagle. It was a fun show, and mine was not the only tanker there, a very nice, newly restored '63 Z06 tanker was in the show class. She is dressed like one AJ Foyt had in 1964.
