59 Corvette power top option Question, and wheel color??

What are some of the tel tel signs of the power top option? I believe this car may have had this removed at one time, and where the wheels painted body color of black? Thnaks, Ed

Ed, Under the passenger seat area there may be signs of some holes where the nutplate was used to hold the switch assembly bracket. Also big holes for the hydraulic hoses in the division panel of the decklid soft top storage area.

In the trunk, holes for the motor/pump assembly behind the division panel on the horizontal surface and the floor. Also holes where the decklid cylinder hydraulic piston mounted along with holes for the limit switches.

Here's a '61 that originally had a PT.

Trunk/decklid area. Also note the big cutout for the piston to lid hinge(missing).


Also a 40 circuit breaker on the firewall shelf passenger side, with a mount hole.
