I plan on selling my 66 wood grained steering wheel. Is there a way to determine if it is OEM or repro?

are you talking a teak wood wheel or simulated wood plastic wheel?

i am talking the simulated wood plastic wheel ,i.e., the standard wheel.

The reproduction plastic wheels I have seen are significantly lighter then original wheels

If it's not a teak wheel, I don't think the difference in price between an original or a repro is going to make anyone rich....

Original wheels have more rounded, softer spokes at the edges. Repro's are sharper. Spokes are duller in sheen compared to repops as well.
