I need some assistance with my 1998 Pace Car seat belt tags. Mine were removed earlier, perhaps when the recall was repaired. There is adhesive where the tags were originally. Now my question, what is the tags supposed to look like and say? The Judging Reference Manual describes the tag but doesn't include any pictures. I got a chance to look at a buddies original car today and his seat belt tags look nothing like the Judging Reference Manual describes. Further, does anyone know where I can purchase replacement seat belt tags once I figure out what they are supposed to look like. Thanks in advance for any assistance that is provided. Pictures will be greatly appreciated.

No help as to a source for replacement tags. Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide (TIMJG) 1997-1999 indicates TRW as supplier for May 1988 and later belts. TIMJG is silent as to supplier of earlier seat belts and it may be possible those belts came from a number of vendors. Multiple vendors would likely exhibit multiple style tags.
There are 10 originality and 10 condition points associated with "Seat & Shoulder Belt Assembly". Missing tags would be a completeness issue under C.D.C.I.F., but would IMO be a relatively small part of the entire assembly, and hence not generate many deduction points. (Missing components would subsequently generate a proportional reduction of condition points as you can't judge a part that isn't there.) Take-away is this in itself would not be worth many points. Not sure if those points are worth your time and expense of locating replacement tags.
NHTSA Campaign Number: 00V111000, is the campaign number (I believe) for the seat belt recall.
The NHTSA document does not give a detailed description of the fix. Seat belts don't show up as one of the TSBs at the back of the TIMJG. If you can locate the actual GM TSB and as part of the recall modification it required removal of the tags, then there would be a minimal originality deduction.
