Looking for those clip on plastic shields that protect the side exhaust covers from stone damage and road tar. It appears this product has been discontinued from Corvette Central and Eckler's. Does anyone know who manufactured these and where i could get some for my side pipes?

Re: 67' Side exhaust plastic cover shields
I've been looking for a number of months. I checked most of the well known and some lesser known vendors and none seem to have them. They were manufactured by a fellow NCRS member James West. I exchanged emails with him and he indicated that the demand was so low that he wasn't making any more.
Maybe be if you also give him a friendly nudge we can get him to make some more..Don Harris

Re: 67' Side exhaust plastic cover shields
James West said he plans to make the cover shields again this Fall. He recommended that if anyone is interested to send him a text and he will let you know when he has some made. His cell number is 402-618-1815- Top

There are a group of folks on the Corvette Forum also in the market. I've been participating in a thread there and so far there is requests for more than 20 sets.

Re: 67' Side exhaust plastic cover shields
Thanks for your continue interest. I've heard from a lot of people who want to purchase a pair of my side exhaust shields. I'll try my best to have sets available before the spring time. I know this doesn't help those who live in the warm climates and get to enjoy their C2 Corvette year around.
I never thought when I was building these as a manufacturing engineering class project in college back in the day that they would be such a hit. Again I am not a "business" and I don't have people how work for me so I can't simply pass it off to someone to get the work done. This is done out of my home, on my own time when I'm not working my regular job.
Just as an FYI, prices will be in the neighborhood of $50 to $55 plus per pair plus shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
Best Regards,
James West
