    Re: 911

Nope, no A/C, PW or leather. It did have a luggage rack, (which I used quite a lot when travelling) and the obvious white walls and P02 wheel covers.. It was my first brand-new Corvette, but far from my last. I drove it nearly five years, including through the first two Central New York winters. It was actually a pretty decent car in the snow - just put her in 2nd and away you go . . . all you really lacked was ground clearance. The heater and defroster worked very well. Traded it in for a new, downsized '77 Chevy Caprice when we started a family. Again, I wish there was a way I could have kept it - it was a fast, reliable and very entertaining car. I hope it's still around somewhere and someone is enjoying it as much as I did.

I'm sure you ARE alone with your opinion. The only thing in this thread that is offensive and disgusting is YOUR reply in it.

In keeping this Corvette related, here's a pic. of my 1960 that I bought at 19 years of age (still have it) which was prior to starting a career as a professional firefighter.

Thanks Mark. It blows me away every time I think about all that car and I have gone through together in the past 42 years. I know the day will come for us to part but hopefully that's a ways off, the good Lord willing.

Unfortunately, I'm the youngest sibling and have no children so I have no heirs unless you count my wife who half the time wants to kill me.
