1993 Air Cleaner Assembly

The Corvette Service manual (Book 2) Reminds you to properly secure the radiator air deflector to avoid water intrusion into the engine. This is completed prior to installing the air cleaner assembly. I see no info in the service book Can some one elaborate on this issue?

I believe they are talking about the plastic sheeting that goes in the bottom before the air filter box goes in.

Item 49 in pic is a push in retainer #20032850.

Thanks! I did see the fastener but it was not attached (one). The other must be attached under the radiator correct?

My 90 has no retainer its just sits below the air filter housing inside the engine compartment. I can't find any illustration or pics on how yours would go in. Maybe some one here with a newer C4 could provide some pics.
