NCRS Board Meeting at Lone Star Regional

The NCRS Board will meet during the Lone Star Regional in Frisco, Texas. The meeting will occur on Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2016. The meeting will be held in the Embassy Suites hotel in the Buffalo Room. The meeting is blocked from 1:00 to 5:00 but the start time may be delayed due to my involvement in a PV. The meeting is open to the membership.

Inasmuch as it has been 39 days since the Board minutes announced that the next Board meeting would be March 23, 2017 in Indianapolis, it would seem fair to say that Transparency Has Not Been Achieved.

In all fairness to the board, those meeting minutes indicate the probability of a board meeting in Texas (page 7, item d. i 2). but didn't specify time or date.

Loren, you should come to Frisco and attend and ask all your questions. The session at Warwick was great, people got their views out and facts were shared with everyone.

Michael, let's limit it to just one - why is it that the 15,000 NCRS members do not receive an advance copy of the Board's agenda for its meeting?

Mr. Lindbergh,

IIRC that in the 1990's the only BoD info was belatedly published in the President's message. There was nothing on the agenda, minutes, etc. made available to members, Chapter Officers, etc. and no financial statement.

Ah, yes in the days of yore when Roy Sinor did his job for free instead of 5 people replacing him at a cost of $110K+ and only 14,000 people wondered what the Board meeting would cover, but that was when the National Convention didn't lose 25K a year and the club showed a profit each and every year. Your point is?
