    Car cover recommendation wanted

What is the best cover to keep shop dust off a newly painted Corvette with a white convertible top without trapping moisture when the garage is humid?

I wouldn't recommend you cover a newly painted Corvette. The new paint needs to breath and cure. Dust won't affect the paint. Purchase a California Duster and lightly dust once or twice a week.

Are you ever going to also cover the car with the same purchased cover out of the garage away from home?

The paint is base coat/clear coat and the body shop let it cure about 6 months before we did the body drop. Mainly I want to keep the white top really clean and make the car less visible to curious eyes, but I don't want to trap moisture. I do not intend to cover the car outdoors.

I have used Back East covers for years on Corvettes and MoPars. 100% cotton and used to be made in USA. Only use indoors. Use on all types of paint. Wash them once a year. I have used a lint roller to clean vert tops just roll lightly changing paper pull off frequently. Wash only when cool in the shade with cold water and allow to sun dry for a couple of hours.

Patrick: I have a CoverCraft custom cover. Fits like a baseball glove and soft as a kitten's tail. Expensive, yet, worth it. A couple of NCRS friends have inspected it and were impressed. They will also do embroidery for a few extra bucks. I've tried several others over the past 21 years; and this is the best in my experience for what it's worth. Best, Ned
