This has been here before, but i recently found it on MyClassicGarage.com It is the 1953 letter from Zora Arkus Duntov to Maurice Olley.

I think I saw the original of this in the Duntov display at the NCM.

Wow, I knew that Duntov was a great engineer but did not know he was so articulate! He studied the market and the access to performance parts like he knew the engine/heads.
Every time I met Duntov he amazed me with his knowledge of Chevrolet and the Corvette.

My favorite line in Zora's letter:

"Since we cannot prevent the people from racing Corvettes, maybe it is better to help them to do a good job at it . . . "

Great letter for sure. I've attached here another one I'm sure most of you have seen before - one of my favorites from Mr. Duntov.
