Chip Miller 1957 FI Corvette

Friend of mine has a 57 FI Corvette I've been helping with for several years. It was purchased in the 80s by his wife who said it came from Chip Miller. Well, while cleaning out old files the title was found yesterday from Chip Miller, 1225 Smallbrook Lane, York. Pa. The car is a black with silver insert, red interior 250 hp FI car, 3 speed. Does anyone remember this car from back in the 80s? It's a two top, power top car, unhit etc. Any old pictures? Thanks for any info,

Yes, I remember when Chip had this car.
If I remember correctly the car was very original and mostly
unrestored. I think that there was a university decal on the
plexiglass window of the hardtop.

Spoke with my friend Bill, the car had an old Duke University decal on the hardtop plexiglas, it's gone now, he didn't think NCRS would like it. What a shame. David, do you remember who Chip purchased the car from or when? Thanks,

I'll look into sold old folders as well, my father kept pretty good records. I recall our old address that you wrote down - blast from the past. When I find some free-time I'll look into it for you.

Thanks Lance, on the Title, your Dad bought the 57 11/12/85 and when he sold it had 44819 miles on it. I think Corvette Mike was involved in the sale, he placed adds for it in Vetteviews etc.

Thank you David and Lance for helping save the history of 57 FI vin 4298. Lance sent me an article about Chip selling some of his collection, one of them was a 44K mile 1957 FI two top 250hp 3 speed, which Chip had bought from the original owner. The car is still being driven today in San Diego by the 3rd owner, very neat original car. Thanks guys !
