Paint colors for '67 seat restoration

Any recommendations (brand/color) regarding paint for the seat tracks (dark gray oxide) and the seat catch assembly (silver).

Believe it or not, Cast Blast paint matches the 67 seat track oxide finish pretty well.

Who makes or what brand(name) is the preferred maker of Cast Blast(Seymour?)

I think it was Seymour, but I would try out whatever brand you can get locally.

Jack - I found the Seymour brand on Amazon after reading Patrick's recommendation and ordered a can. They are the only manufacturer of "Cast Blast" that I was able to find on-line.

Ron and others: Commercial Forms (www.commercialforms.com) has Seymour Cast Blast and Alumi Blast for $3.95 per can (16oz) plus shipping.

At that price there is going to be a run on that stuff. They also carry Chevy engine orange, $4.12 / can + shipping.

Stilling looking for a silver paint to use on the seat catch. Any recommendations? Everything I have found has too much metallic.

Were you satisfied with the Cast Blast the seat tracks? Have you used it yet?

                    Patrick,

I am planning on painting the tracks tomorrow. I did spray the Cast Blast on a piece of steel and it is almost spot on to the original color. Thanks for the recommendation.
