Power window harness route along transmission tunnel?

How is the power window harness suppose to be routed along the transmission tunnel for a 66? Under the console all the way from the firewall to the switch, or all along the floor and then turn 90 deg up to the switch, or something in between? My floor has been apart too many time tell the original route and I'm curious what it was.

I think it goes under the console from the firewall to the switch. I just routed my cable on a 67 coupe and that is how it seems to want to go. I am dealing with an original power window harness. Hope this helps Jeff

Thanks guys, that is why I asked. The AIM to me looks like it goes along the floor and then up, but others talk about the wiring running under the console.
