Is there a casting number on the air horn assembly of a 1969 Rochester 4-barrel #7029207 for a 350/350, and where is it located? Mine may have an incorrect air horn from a repair made back in the 1970's. It's on the car, but I don't want to disassemble it to determine if it's correct if I don't have to. Visual inspection of the exterior seems to show no casting number or stamping.

There's no casting number that I know of. It's possible that there is one, though, in a concealed area (e.g. on the bottom requiring removal of the air horn to view).
Tip: Original 1969 7029207 carbs have a lever actuated bowl vent on the front of the air horn. Some later SERVICE examples of this carb (which was manufactured for many years) lack the vent.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
